Echelon Yeppoon

Undercover Parking is provided on site for 1 car. You will need to check in with Reception to collect your keys prior to parking as you will need to swipe your programmed toggle to gain access to the basement level carpark.

Underground parking is provided free of charge.

Please be advised all parking is allocated, however parks may not be suitable for all vehicle types. The height Clearance 2.4M.

Please contact us beforehand if you are travelling in a bigger vehicle as we may be able to assist with recommendations to park elsewhere.

Our office hours are as follows:

• Monday - Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Saturday: 8:30am to 4:00pm
• Sunday: 8:30am to 2:00pm

If you are arriving outside of these hours we will put your keys in the late arrival safe, located next to the front door to the Reception.

Please note that access to the reception is from Barry Street.

You will be sent the access code for the safe via SMS prior to the front desk closing. If you have any problems, please call 07 4939 0900 and our after-hours service will assist you with your check in.

To enter when the gate is down use the bottom section on the remote, which attached to one set of keys, to open up the gate.

To exit when the gate is down – the gate is on a sensor on the inside and will open as you drive up to it.

Check-in time is from 2pm.

We can sometimes arrange an early check-in, so please contact us if you will arrive early and we'll do our best to try to arrange an early entry, however we can't guarantee this.

For those that do arrive before the designated check-in time, the good news is that there is plenty to do in Yeppoon!

You can store your luggage in our storage area while you wait. We often suggest that guests visit the grocery store and do a small shop. That will give you more time to relax once you've checked in! There are also a few good cafes nearby for lunch so why not relax and enjoy some of the local food!

Check-out time is 10am, unless prior arrangements have been made with Reception.

If you would like to arrange a late check out, please enquire at Reception, as it will be subject to availability.

Some friendly housekeeping reminders for your departure if we can kindly ask you to:

• Ensure air conditioners & lights are turned off
• Remove all rubbish
• Start the dishwasher

If you are leaving prior to the reception opening, you can place your keys in the box located at the front desk. If you are leaving after 8.30am, please drop your keys at the front desk.

To exit when the gate is down – the gate is on a sensor on the inside and will open as you drive up to it.

Cots/high chairs can be hired though Reception (subject to availability). It is best to book in advance so we can have these items in your apartment ready for your arrival.

(Please note that rollaway beds are intended for children who do not weigh over 60kg)

The key to your apartment will grant you access to every access point in the building: carpark, pool, front reception and lifts.

Silver Key opens your apartment gate and apartment door. It also allows access to the Reception door from the car park.

Grey Round Tag allows security access to all levels in the lifts and access to the glass doors at Reception from outside. Swipe the toggle across the black box with the red light and when it turns green access is enabled.

Your Remote allows access to the car park roller door at the main entrance and the secure parking on level -2.

LOST KEYS: Please note that lost keys will incur a minimum fee of $750, as it requires the whole building to be changed.

Your apartment is designed to make your stay with us as relaxing and convenient as possible. It is fully self contained and is equipped with everything you might need for your stay.

For your convenience when you first arrive, you will find in your apartment a small complimentary starter pack, inclusive of coffee, tea, milk, washing powder and bathroom products. For all additional products, there are a few shops located nearby.

If you are missing something, please don't hesitate to see our front desk during opening hours.

The Master controller for the Air Conditioning is located in the lounge room on floors 1-3 and on the 4th floor it is located in the downstairs bedroom on the wall. The master controller must be switched to the snowflake (for cooling) or the sun (for heating). The other controllers will not switch to another setting unless the Master controller is switched to that setting. Refer to user’s manual.

COOK TOPS:

Floors 1-3:

• Turn HOB switch on (located on kitchen splashback)
• Touch the On/Off sensor for a few seconds to turn on
• A ‘0’ appears in the display for each of the cooking zones (if no further entry is made, the cook top will switch itself off after a few seconds)
• Select a power setting between 1–9 by touching the ‘–‘ or ‘+’ sensor
• If you wish to switch on another cooking zone, and have multiple zones on at once, touch another zone so the ‘.’ (dot) appears next to the ‘0’
• Once you have multiple zones on, simply press the zone you wish to use so the ‘.’ (dot) appears next to the number to adjust heat.

Floor 4:

• Turn HOB switch on (located on kitchen splashback)
• Touch the On/Off sensor for a few seconds to turn on
• A ‘00’ appears (if no further entry is made, the cook top will switch itself off after a few seconds for safety reasons)
• Select a power setting between 1–9 by touching the ‘–‘ or ‘+’ sensor

MICROWAVE:

Please ensure you do not put any foil or aluminium dishes in the microwave.

• Press power
• Turn knob to desired cooking time
• Press ‘Start’

OVENS:

• Oven will not work without the timer being switched on, either to a time or on the hand signal at 360 degrees on the timer knob
• Switch knob on farthest right to full fan (360 degree turn); grill icon is straight under full fan (fan forced)
• Turn knob to desired temperature on the thermostat knob, which is in the centre

1. Press ‘Start’ to turn on
2. Select the programme you want using the ‘P’ button
3. Hold in the ‘Play’ button until dishwasher ‘beeps’ and then release
4. The dishwasher will then automatically start

Note: The powder provided to you in the starter pack is for short term use - in these dishwashers it is recommended that you use finish power ball dishwasher tablets.

All apartments are connected to Foxtel Cable TV. You can also watch free to air channels as well.

Each TV may differ in the way that it accepts the 10 analogue Foxtel channels. On older TVs, you will find the channels at the end of the DTV channel cycle. Keep pressing channel and past channels 306 and 307 they will appear. Newer TVs may accept the 10 channels as a different input, i.e. AV or they will be located in the analogue channel list.

Echelon Apartments are fully self-contained holiday letting apartments. If your stay is more than 7 nights, fresh linen will be provided mid stay. If your stay is for 14 days, or longer, your apartment will be serviced every 7 days.

Our tariff includes a complimentary starter pack, which includes tea, coffee, milk, detergent, toilet paper etc in your apartment on arrival.

Supermarkets and convenience stores are located nearby for further supplies during your stay. You may purchase essential items from reception for a small fee.

There are additional pillows and blankets in your wardrobes. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds are available upon request. Please contact reception to arrange. A hairdryer is located in the bathroom drawer of your bathroom.

Laundry: Each apartment has a washing machine and dryer for guests to use. We ask that you do not overload the machines. We also provide a clothes airer for you to hang towels and clothing on. Please refrain from hanging anything on balconies.

Irons and Ironing Boards: For your convenience, irons and ironing boards are located in the laundry in each unit.

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, things can sometimes go wrong or break down.

Should you find anything that does not work, is broken or missing, please let us know as soon as you discover the issue so we can ensure it is fixed to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible.

If you arrive early and your apartment isn't quite ready, the good news is that there is plenty to do. We suggest that guests visit the grocery store and do a small shop so you are ready to relax once you've checked in. There are also a some great cafes and restaurants nearby for lunch so why not relax and enjoy some of the local food!

The other option is to take advantage of the warm weather and cool off by taking a dip in our pool or get your toes sandy and take a swim in the ocean.

Open 7 days a week the Yeppoon Lagoon is the jewel in the crown of the Yeppoon foreshore precinct. The 2500 square-metre resort style lagoon pool is located right on the beach front and includes a shallow children’s play area, informal lap swimming area & a swim-up infinity edge with stunning views of the Keppel Islands. The surrounding park lands include barbecues and shaded areas, great for picnics or relaxing with stunning views under the tropical foliage.

Entry to the Lagoon is free and is patrolled Monday to Sunday including Public Holidays.

Taking pride of place on the Yeppoon Foreshore, the Keppel Kraken is a water play feature quite unlike any other. With a mythical sea creature centerpiece and set against the spectacular backdrop of Keppel Bay, it is the perfect place to soak up some sunshine on the beautiful Capricorn Coast.

Featuring a host of interactive elements including water cannons, jets and a unique umbrella bucket – the only one of its kind in Queensland – the Keppel Kraken is guaranteed fun for the whole family. Timber decks and custom made picnic tables are the perfect place to enjoy a summer barbecue while the kids make the most of the play area, including five spectacular sea sculptures that have to be seen to be believed.

Yeppoon’s Main Beach is patrolled by qualified life savers daily. You can find our life savers situated at the Surf Life Saving Club on our beachfront.

There are also fabulous beaches north and south of us. Take a drive to Lammermoor Beach, Cooee Bay or travel over to Keppel for a day trip!

No animals of any kind are permitted in the complex, without the prior approval of the Body Corporate. Guests who bring animals into the complex may be evicted without the right to a refund.

As per the Guide Dogs Act 1972, section 5, Guide Dogs or Companion dogs are permitted in the complex subject to prior approval by management and Body Corporate. Proof of registration will be requested.

There may be an extra cleaning fee included in your tariff, which will be agreed upon when making your booking.

For the comfort of all guests, all common areas at Echelon Apartments are non-smoking.

As per the Bylaws of the Building, we have a strict non-smoking policy inside the Apartments which we kindly ask all guests to adhere to. Penalties will apply for breaching this rule.

In the unlikely event of a Fire Alarm going off throughout your stay, please refer to your closest Fire Exit.

Use the Fire Evacuation Map on the back of your apartment door and in the common areas of the building to determine your closest exit.

Refrain from entering the lifts and treat the alarm seriously, until notified by the attending Firemen otherwise.

Do not attempt to take possessions with you. Do not use the elevators.

Depending on your nearest fire exit, we ask you to please convene at the following locations:

Bluff Point Walking Track

Bluff Point is a 2.3km circuit track with two lookout points overlooking the ocean and bay. It is located 7km from Yeppoon (head towards Emu Park) and is just up the road from the Rosslyn Bay turnoff.

The walk is paved or gravelled and the steps quite even for an outdoor track. The circuit goes through grassland and dry rain-forest, and at a leisurely pace with plenty of photo stops it took us under an hour. At the base there is a picnic area and a walkway to the beach.

Capricorn Caves

A unique and spectacular system of above-ground caves in a limestone ridge. Tours range from easy walking, wheelchair-accessible caves to wild caving adventure tours. Abseiling, climbing wall, high ropes course, geologic tours.

Capricorn Coast Watersports Adventures
